The blog is taking a short break while I recover and rehabilitate from my hip replacement surgery last week. This has been looming since I was in Florida but this spring it became obvious that I couldn’t put it off any longer.

All indications are that the procedure went well and my physical therapist says I am where I should be. Which, of course, isn’t the same as where I want to be, but such is life. Right now, every time I think of starting a project, instead I soon find myself taking a nap.

Hopefully by next week some degree of normality will return and a new blog post will appear at that time. I wish you all a pleasant and renewing holiday weekend!
